Best of the Beat is a dazzling crazy quilt of mind-blowing showstoppers created by Robyn Metchik and Emmy award-winning choreographer, Suzy Miller with guest choreographers Frank Soares and Jen Cameron. This high energy, fast-paced spectacular celebrates music and dance from across the ages and across the world. One hundred fantastic singers and dancers from Nipomo High School and Mesa and Paulding Middle Schools will take you from the familiar to fantasy—such as Bollywood, the court of Marie Antoinette, tribal Africa, and even Alice in Wonderland. A nonstop explosion of entertainment, Best of the Beat includes special tributes to Michael Jackson and Patrick Swayze and has moments that will make you laugh, cry, and stand up and cheer.
