Danny Pelfrey – Emmy & BMI Award-winning Original Music Composer & Film Scorer

Two time Emmy Award winner, six time BMI Award winning composer and multi-instrumentalist Danny Pelfrey has had an inspiring journey from his roots in West Virginia to the magnetic world of film and television. In his work as a musician he performed and recorded Carole King, Diana Ross, Tower of Power, Bobby Caldwell, Eric Clapton, Smokey Robinson, Luther Vandross and many others.   Danny was the weekly composer for numerous popular shows such as Spin City, Felicity, That's Life, Strong Medicine and American Dreams.  His work has also been featured in many game titles, most notably the Star Trek franchise for Activision as well as the theater piece Cyrano de Bergerac performed at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza.
 

 

 

 

Erik Stein - Casting Director for PCPA Theatrefest
On Broadway, Erik Stein has performed opposite Roddy McDowall, Hal Linden, Jim Dale, and Frank Langella. He appeared as The Ghost of Christmas Present opposite Tim Curry in the Broadway production of A Christmas Carol directed by Susan Stroman. Off Broadway, Erik created the role of Stephens in Manhattan Theatre Clubs production of Captains Courageous starring Treat Williams. He has been involved with several new musicals, he is a founding member of The Alaska Shakespeare Festival and The California Cabaret Theatre, and he has had the fortune to work with many Tony Award winning Regional Theatres. Erik is the casting director for PCPA Theaterfest, and he is very happily married to his love, Jacqueline Hildebrand.
 
 
 
 

Diane Steinberg Lewis – Singer, Songwriter, Producer and Arranger (ABC records, Atlantic Records)

Diane is a professional singer/songwriter/musician and is the eldest daughter of acclaimed radio personality and Christian minister, Martha Jean "The Queen" Steinberg.  In a career that spans over two decades, she has starred in both feature films and hit television shows including Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, NBC-TV's variety series "Top Ten" hosted by nationally syndicated radio personality Rick Dees, Don Kirschner's "Midnight Special" and the Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Telethon. She has also appeared with or sang back up for A-list recording artists including Rod Stewart, Lalo Shifrin, Kevin Cronin of REO Speedwagon, Paul McCartney and the Steve Miller band. 
 
A platinum album recipient, Steinberg Lewis has also been a recording artist for Atlantic Records, ABC, RSO and Word Records, A&M Rejoice Label. As a composer, her musical credits include "Secrets," recorded by Natalie Cole, "The Wish" and "The Merchant Song" for jazz great Cleo Lane, and the theme for A&E's long-running standup comedy show "An Evening at the Improv. In 1990, she won the Kodak Award for Songwriting.
