Search for the Stars

Once again, the Clark Center is searching for the Central Coast’s brightest stars with our second annual Search for the Stars Competition. All contestants must audition prior to the competition at a time and location that will be announced in June 2010. The top 22 scoring acts will be invited to compete on September 18. During this performance, contestants perform in front of a jury made of industry professionals, allowing them the opportunity to come in contact with casting directors, agents, producers and performers who are active in the profession at a high level. The top 10 scoring acts return after intermission for the final round, where they will be accompanied by the Jim Townsend Blues Band. Three top winners are chosen and will receive cash prizes. The Grand Prize Winner also wins the opportunity to perform as the opening act for a professional touring show in the 2010-11 Clark Center Association season.
