Al Jardine – A Postcard From California: From the Very First Song with a Founding Member of The Beach Boys

February 17 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Music legend Al Jardine brings a storytellers-style performance to the stage in what is likely the first show of its kind by any member of The Beach Boys. “Postcard” brings the epic tale of America’s band alive from their earliest days of recording their very first song, “Surfin’” up on through “Surfin’ Safari,” “Help Me Rhonda,” “Sloop John B” and that magical year of 1966, right through to today and his debut solo release, “A Postcard From California”.

Al is joined by his son Matt, known for his breathtaking falsettos on Brian Wilson’s most recent Pet Sounds 50th Anniversary tour. In an intimate, acoustic setting, including rare images and video, Mr. Jardine takes us back into a history, so improbable that it must have been meant to be! From meeting Elvis Presley to making “Pet Sounds”, here are the songs, stories and harmonies that moved generations, all in one unforgettable evening.

Classic 60’s Muscle Show Cars from members of Arroyo Car Club will be on display at the Clark Center.

Three Classic surfboards will be on display in the lobby, loaned by Central Coast Surfboards –
