Central Coast Business Symposium 2017
- This event has passed.
Presented by Andre, Morris, & Buttery
Best-selling author Sharon Jordan-Evans will discuss employee retention and increasing job satisfaction during this year’s Central Coast Business Symposium while former Cal Poly pitching ace and Philadelphia Phillies prospect Matt Imhof will discuss how a freak training room accident ended his baseball career but didn’t define who he is. They will be joined by Stanley W. Fields, CEO of United News International (UNI).
Jordan-Evans is a pioneer of employee retention and engagement, whose books include “Love ‘Em or Lose ‘Em: Getting Good People to Stay” and “Hello Stay Interviews, Goodbye Talent Loss.”
After getting drafted in 2014, Imhof had a bright future until an accident caused him to lose his right eye. While the injury ended his MLB prospects, he immediately bounced back, re-enrolling at Cal Poly and becoming an undergraduate assistant coach.
Joining the other two speakers will be Stanley W. Fields, CEO of United News International (UNI). UNI has changed the face of the news reporting market, garnering more than 1 billion views on Facebook. His topic is entitled, “Real, Fake or in Between: How the Difference can Impact Business.”
The Central Coast Business Symposium is an Invitation-only event and seating is limited. Friends of the sponsors may register on a first come, first served basis.
