The Nutcracker

November 24 @ 7:00 pm

Presented by Everybody Can DANCE & Santa Maria Civic Ballet

What makes this Nutcracker a favorite holiday tradition?

Is it the nostalgic party scene filled with 60 children and adults, dressed in their finest, having old-fashioned fun around the Christmas tree? Or the Mouse King and Nutcracker-come-to-life, swords crossed, with their armies of mischievous mice and toy soldiers? Or the magical beauty of 31 swirling, glittering Snowflakes? Or dancing Coffee, Tea, Chocolate and Gingerbread? The awesome Waltz of the Flowers? The magnificent Sugar Plum Fairy or Clara, the girl at the center of the story?

Maybe, it’s all of the above along with fantastic music by Tchaikovsky that fills our hearts. This wondrous classic is creatively choreographed by Diane Zink, Artistic Director for Everybody Can DANCE and the Santa Maria Civic Ballet.

Children ages 3 and up are invited to attend and meet the characters.

General Admission: Adult – $20, Children – $15
