Venue Information & Policies

A few little reminders:

Ticketing Fee
A $3 Facility fee is added to each ticket purchased and a $5 Order fee is added to the order regardless of the number of tickets.  Like other organizations, these fees are used to help offset the costs of operating the box office as well as continuing to improve the facility.  The Order fee of $5 is waived if tickets are purchased at the box office window and the $3 Facility fee is waived for student tickets.

Parking
Convenient onsite parking is included with your ticket purchase.

Backstage
No one is allowed backstage prior to, during, or after any performance without proper authorization and identification.

Photography & Video Recording
For most performances, as required by the artists, no photography or recording is allowed. In the interest of the safety, security, and comfort of our patrons, any expandable “selfie” type sticks are not allowed inside the building, including at performances. There are times photography is encouraged by artists; please consult an usher for the photography restrictions in effect for the performance.

Children
Unless otherwise stated or requested by an event’s producer or performers, the Clark Center’s policy allows for audience members of any age. However, every person must have a ticket, including infants and lap-seated children.  Parents are expected to take into account the subject and nature of performances when selecting shows for their children, and to make sure etiquette is part of the theatre going experience. Parties whose children cause a disruption may be asked to leave the performance without a refund.

Refreshments
Concessions services are available one hour before show times and during intermission (when applicable). Bottled water purchased at concession may be enjoyed in the theater. All other food and beverages are prohibited in the theater.

Wine and beer may be sold during some events that fall on non-school days. Check the event schedule or the box office. The Clark Center strictly adheres to all local and state laws regarding alcohol consumption. Guests should expect to be carded for appropriate identification and asked to wear a wristband provided by the staff. The Clark Center reserves the right to refuse service or admission to anyone.

No outside food or beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic, are permitted inside the venue.

Assisted Listening Devices
Assisted listening devices are available by checking in at the House Manager’s Lectern in the main lobby.

Theater Etiquette
Performances start promptly at their scheduled time. Please arrive with plenty of time to park and find your seat. Latecomers and those who leave their seats during a performance will be seated at the first appropriate pause in the program, as predetermined by house staff and performers. Please remember to silence all electronic devices before entering the theater.

We ask that you be respectful of others and behave in an appropriate manner related to the performance you are attending. It is never permissible to stand in any aisle space. Ushers and security representatives are available should you need assistance.

Smoking/Vaping and use of tobacco, including e-cigarettes, is prohibited throughout the school district including the Clark Center and its parking lots.

Patrons who engage in illegal activities, are intoxicated, or are otherwise disruptive (including heckling, public nudity, and smoking in non-designated areas) will be escorted from the property without refund. Shoes and shirts are required at all events.

Lost & Found
Items found in the Clark Center are brought to our Lost and Found, located in the Box Office. Please call 805-489-9444 to inquire. Items may take up to 24 hours to be submitted and are kept in our Lost and Found for one month.
