New This Year!

Call for local professional performers! “Winter Date Nights at the Clark Center”

The Clark Center in Arroyo Grande will be hosting a weekly series of live professional online performances of local performers and organizations. These will run every Saturday evening for 7 weeks,  November 7 – December 19, 2020.  These will be hosted through Facebook Preview and posted simultaneously on YouTube. Most will be about an hour in length.

The Clark Center had great success with its recent “Summer Date Night” series, begun just this year.

There will be links to donate online via the Clark Center booking engine. These Donations will be split 50-50 with the performing group and the Clark Center.

The Clark Center will actively market these shows in advance. This includes weekly emails to over 16,000 patrons, Facebook posts to almost 5,000 followers and posting to local online community calendars. Performers will also be able to market the show via their own social media campaigns. The shows will typically remain on YouTube for at least 9 weeks.

The Clark Center is looking for pre-recorded video performances, in a wide variety of musical genres, comedy and theater. They do not need to be Holiday related.

Performers will be able to use existing videos they have, use unpublished videos, or create new ones for this performance. The group will be able to use the videos later for their own purposes. The Clark Center can provide some support in editing these videos.

Benefits to Performers:
* Receive 50% of the donations raised.
* Reach & grow your audiences and fanbase by reaching Clark Center patrons.
* Keep your name current even though unable to perform live.
* Ability to re-use video created for other purposes.
* No need to handle credit cards.

Several prominent local organizations participated in our “Summer Date Night” series, including: KCBX “Live Oak Festival”, Festival Mozaic, Central Coast Shakespeare Festival and Orchestra Novo
