The Clark Center for the Performing Arts: Promoting performing and cultural arts for the enjoyment, entertainment and education of our community.
The Clark Center’s 2019-20 performance season includes a diverse and entertaining selection of world-class professional performers in a variety of musical genres such as Bluegrass, Folk, Pop and Country, as well as side-splitting comedy, amazing acrobatics, and shows for the whole family.
There are two state-of-the art theatres, the 617 seat Forbes Hall and the approximately 120 seat Studio Theatre. Both theatres are used by various professional and community productions and are available to rent.
Since opening in 2002, the Clark Center has become the Central Coast’s premier venue for world-class, professional performing arts in an intimate setting. The Center is a state-of-the-art hub for cultural events serving all the people of our community and their families, as well as an institution for vocational and educational opportunity.
The Clark Center’s Mission is to perpetuate the enjoyment of the arts on the Central Coast. We do that by administering and raising funds through planned giving for our Endowment and Building Funds to maintain the Center, and by raising funds for scholarships, grants and investment for arts in education.
