2022-23 Season Announced!

We unveiled our upcoming 20th anniversary 2022-23 season at our announcement party yesterday evening and we are very proud of the variety of entertainment we have coming to our theater. Our season tag line is “It’s our 20th anniversary & everyone is invited to the party!” and our selection of shows certainly reflects many different genres of entertainment. There truly is something for everyone!

Our special event was held for current members, donors, and sponsors and was a resounding success. Guests enjoyed a variety of delectable appetizers and fancy desserts, a robust charcuterie station, and complimentary beverages including beer and wine, while mingling in our exquisitely decorated lobby. Trader Joes in Arroyo Grande donated the bright and beautiful flowers used in our centerpieces. Catering by David and Michelle Feldman was exceptional! A staff of our famous Clark Center volunteers provided exceptional service passing the appetizers through the crowd.

Our presentation in the Forbes Theater included performances by two of our recent scholarship recipients, Danielle Watkins (class of 2022) who danced to “Only Girl”, and Eliana Nunley (class of 2021) who sang “Don’t Rain on my Parade”. Executive Director Connie O’Henley hosted her last event before she’ll retire from the Clark Center on June 30th and Board President Ashlea Boyer co-hosted alongside her, providing some insight about Clark Center operations over the past year such as making improvements to our lights and sound system!

The show closed with our video presentation, created by our own Ryan Callahan, who did an amazing job showcasing each act coming to the Clark Center beginning this September.

Our 20th anniversary season is dedicated to Sandy Lubin and our video posted here includes a heartfelt tribute to his memory. Sandy dedicated countless hours, expertise, passion, and determination to our Clark Center. He was a leader, supporter, mentor, and friend and he is greatly missed not only by our Clark Center staff, volunteers, and patrons, but also the community at large. The Sandy Lubin scholarship fund was created last December and has raised nearly $13,500! If you are interested in donating to this fund you can call 805-489-4196 or email bronwyn@clarkcenter.org.

Tickets will go on sale to members on July 1st and to the general public beginning August 1st. For more information on each show visit our Tickets page on this website or click https://clarkcenter.org/events/
