Jan & Dean’s run in the 1960’s boasts an impressive 14 gold records. Their biggest hit “Surf City”, co-written by Jan & Dean and Beach Boys founder Brian Wilson, was the first “surf” record to reach #1 in the U.S. Reformed in the 1980’s after a successful summer tour with The Beach Boys, Jan & Dean toured the world until Jan Berry’s untimely death in 2004. Carrying on with their legacy is Dean Torrence of Jan & Dean.
Jan & Dean’s Beach Party! features the greatest hits of two classic California groups, Jan & Dean and The Beach Boys. You will hear such hits as, “Barbara Ann”, “The Little Old Lady from Pasadena”, “Dead Man’s Curve,” “Sidewalk Surfin’”, “Ride the Wild Surf”, “California Girls”, “Good Vibrations”, “I Get Around”, and “Fun, Fun, Fun”.
