Honoring a Friend and Leader

Sandy Lubin

On November 22, the Clark Center and our community lost a leader, supporter, friend, and mentor. Sandy Lubin, served on the Clark Center Board for over 10 years – 9 of those as President. His vision, passion, and persistence were instrumental in building the Clark Center to the organization it is today. Sandy and his wife Cindi attended hundreds of events at the Center, sponsored many shows and have been donors since before the Clark Center opened! Most importantly, Sandy loved the arts and was passionate about bringing performing arts to the community. His family will be holding a private celebration after the holidays.

Sandy was a life long lover of dance.  In his younger days, Sandy was a professional dancer and continued throughout his life to enjoy twirling Cindi around the dance floor.  Sandy and Cindi also enjoyed attending dance performances at the Clark Center and theaters around the world.  To honor Sandy, we will be establishing a scholarship to be given to a local high school student continuing on to high education in the field of dance. Donations can be made to the Clark Center Scholarship fund in Sandy’s name or a charity of your choice to honor his memory.

He will be missed.
